Dr. Tim Murbach received his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, with High Honors, from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland Oregon, also receiving additional certification in homeopathy and IV micronutrient therapy.

Dr. Murbach's undergraduate degree is in biology, with a minor in chemistry, from Oregon State University, where he graduated Suma Cum Laude.

Dr. Murbach is a native of Colorado. He is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren. He and his wife Robin make their home in Salem, Oregon.

When asked about his focus in naturopathic medicine, Dr. Murbach responds, “I've always been interested in heart disease and its associated conditions, such as metabolic syndrome and diabetes. I believe naturopathic medicine has a lot to offer individuals, both in preventing, as well as recovering from, these diseases and all chronic disease. Of course, we do well with acute conditions, too. I am also interested in homeopathy – its potential to truly cure and its ability to make a fundamental difference in an individual's propensity to develop disease in the first place”.
